Overview of One Beat Charity
The One Beat Charity helps aids orphans in Southern Africa.
We identify vulnerable orphans in the local communities where we operate and include them in our daily programs that provide a daily touchpoint, essential and basic needs, food and clothing, school materials, moral and spiritual guidance, and financial assistance.
The orphans we help range in age from infancy through to young adulthood. All orphans in these communities, irrespective of age, are vulnerable to sexual and physical abuse, people trafficking, and forced labour. These orphans need constant protection from harm, and we aim to ensure their well-being and safety by providing regular (daily) monitoring, and a place of safety to any destitute children.
In addition, these children and young adults also need a trustworthy point of reference to provide sensible un-biased advice, but also a moral compass to help and guide them make better decisions.

Background of One Beat Charity
The charity was started after the founders had worked in a community where there were many aids orphans who had no accommodation, parental guidance or support. Other programs were started when the specific needs of vulnerable individuals became apparent.

Do more together than you can alone.
Previous programs and projects
- An educational and enabling community project in Chikwawa district, Malawi, where we developed a pig farm and a chicken farm to the benefit of the local community;
- An adult education and assistance program in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, where we enabled a number of adults to complete adult education and training programs, giving them the start in life that they deserved.
